How we can support you...

Fish HR & Training Limited supports its clients in a number of different ways, but whichever way you choose to use us, the quality of our support, the commercial focus & the pragmatic approach will be consistent features. If you want us to hold your hand through a particular issue, then we will happily do this. If you simply want someone to bounce ideas off or use us as a "sounding board" then that's fine too! If you want to take a back seat & ask us to manage a particular issue for you, perhaps because you wish to distance yourself from it for internal reasons or you are under-resourced, then we can do this too and if you want us to simply advise from behind the scenes then we can be as invisible in our support as suits you.


A part-time HR Manager in your business...

Most of our clients have an arrangement with us whereby we spend regular time in their business managing the whole HR spectrum from handling paperwork and day-to-day people management issues through to being a point of contact for staff and advising on HR strategy.  We are able to provide you with peace of mind by placing in your business an experienced, business-savvy HR manager for a few hours a week or fortnight who lives and breathes your organisation - and can therefore advise you realistically - because they work in it, with you and with your team.  This is an extremely cost-effective way to ensure your business remains protected form unwanted litigation, lost revenue as a result of poor performance or misdirected effort and stays focused on and can plan for the longer-term aims and growth objectives of the organisation.  If necessary, we can also handle discrete HR projects such as recruitment or performance review.


Ad hoc support...

If your business is too small, perhaps, to warrant us spending a day a week/month, then you can join us as an "Ad Hoc" client.  Our ad hoc clients are no less loved and we hope that over time, they will, with our help, grow into bigger organisations where we can support them in a more integral manner. For these clients, we tend to undertake discrete projects such as drafting contracts, handbooks and policies as well as supporting them with on-going queries as and when they arise. Support is mostly given via telephone and email.

Consultancy or an extra pair of hands...

Sometimes businesses come to us because they lack the specialist knowledge they need on a particular issue or project such as setting up a staff representative committee or responding to an Employment Tribunal application.
